Its been over a year since I wrote anything? really? well I guess I was darting around New Zealand for 5 months :) and while that didn't leave much time for some good quality artwork, it did lead to some beautiful locations so I will most likely be posting some photographs from there. I hope that in the future, I will start doing some more actual painting again but considering I'm in my last quarter of college, I'm not sure when I will find the time. I guess I need to turn art into my break time so I can escape for a while into drawing LOTR and Disney :) Hope everyone is less busy and stressed than me!

So it's almost 2010 which means only one thing to me; a month before I leave for NEW ZEALAND! I leave January 31st for 5 months in New Zealand. Its through a study abroad program so I will be attending a university on the south island for a semester. I'm extremely excited and yet nervous. This whole dream began when LOTR came out in 2001 and inspired the idea to go see where it was filmed. I'm enjoying the idea of not only seeing these places, but also immersing myself in the culture and the country. Of course, it's also extremely exciting that I may get to see some filming of the Hobbit, unless they push it back again. I also will have an op

Ok so im straight back from my first ever comic con. I originally went solely for the TWILIGHT panel, but in the end enjoyed it all. The day started out at 6:30 when we left my friends apartment for the convention center. Apparently, getting there by 7:00 is not early enough. We waited in the wrong line and were about a mile from the entrance for hall H where twilight was being shown. We made friends while we sat through other panels until twilight came. It was AMAZING!!!
